Senior Static Engineer - Offshore

About the role

Worley is seeking a Senior Static Engineer to join its offshore team in Abu Dhabi. The role involves applying advanced engineering theories and practices to deliver high‑quality static equipment solutions for energy, chemicals and resources projects.

Key responsibilities

• Work independently on complex assignments, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, codes and industry standards.
• Provide discipline supervision for larger projects or multiple smaller projects.
• Support business development by maintaining personal profiles, preparing technical proposals, estimating costs and presenting solutions to customers.
• Communicate resource loading and skill requirements to supervisors, manage vacation and absence coverage, and mentor junior staff.
• Ensure all technical work meets health, safety, environmental and security requirements.
• Standardise equipment specifications, drawings and document templates, and conduct peer reviews.

Required profile

• Advanced engineering degree or equivalent experience in static equipment design.
• Extensive knowledge of regulations, codes and manufacturing standards applicable to offshore projects.
• Proven ability to supervise multidisciplinary teams and mentor junior engineers.
• Strong communication skills for interfacing with customers, suppliers and contractors.
• Commitment to HSE best practices and continuous improvement.
