Senior Structural Engineer – Precast

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Structural Engineer with deep expertise in precast concrete to lead the design and engineering of precast elements for large‑scale projects. The role involves close collaboration with design, production, and site teams to ensure that all structural solutions are safe, cost‑effective, and compliant with relevant codes.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the structural design of precast columns, beams, walls, slabs, stairs, façade panels and other components.
• Prepare and review calculations, design reports, reinforcement details, connection designs, lifting points and temporary stability requirements.
• Approve shop and production drawings, ensuring alignment with project specifications and standards.
• Coordinate with architects, consultants, BIM teams, production, QA/QC and site teams to resolve technical issues.
• Support the factory during mould preparation, reinforcement fabrication, casting, curing, storage, transportation and erection.
• Conduct structural analysis for precast elements and connections as needed.
• Mentor junior engineers and verify their engineering outputs.
• Participate in value‑engineering studies and propose cost‑effective design solutions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• 8+ years of structural engineering experience with a focus on precast concrete.
• Strong UAE/GCC experience in precast design is preferred.
• Proven ability to produce detailed reinforcement, connection and shop drawings.
• Excellent knowledge of international and local structural codes.
