Senior Supervisor, Operations

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Supervisor, Operations to lead piping construction activities on an on‑shore EPC project in Abu Dhabi. The role involves overseeing all aspects of pipe installation, testing and commissioning, ensuring compliance with engineering standards and client requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise piping installation and erection for on‑shore and offshore oil & gas facilities, ensuring work follows IFC drawings, specifications and method statements.
• Coordinate daily construction activities with civil, mechanical, structural, electrical, instrumentation and commissioning teams.
• Manage contractor and subcontractor teams, ensuring availability of manpower, tools, equipment and materials.
• Review work packs, construction schedules and fabrication priorities, and resolve site‑related issues.
• Monitor welding, hydrostatic and pneumatic testing, flushing, air‑blowing and preservation activities.
• Ensure HSE compliance, conduct toolbox talks, safety inspections and risk assessments.
• Control quality assurance and quality control processes, verify punch‑list closure and readiness for pre‑commissioning and commissioning.

Required profile

• Proven on‑shore site experience in large‑scale EPC projects within the oil & gas sector.
• Strong knowledge of piping codes and standards (ASME B31.3, B31.4, B31.8, API, ASTM, ISO).
• Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage subcontractors.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
