Senior Tax Management Advisor

About the role

The Tax Management Advisor, MEA will lead the tax agenda across Cigna Healthcare’s Middle East and Africa operations. The role ensures compliance with evolving tax regulations while supporting business growth through strategic tax planning, governance, and risk management.

Key responsibilities

• Manage current and deferred tax reporting in line with IFRS and support quarterly and annual financial reporting processes.
• Lead transfer pricing governance, documentation, and compliance, ensuring adherence to OECD and local requirements.
• Partner with Commercial, Finance, Legal, Compliance, Procurement, and Operations teams to provide tax advice on initiatives, new products, and strategic projects.
• Establish a robust tax governance framework, identify and mitigate tax risks, and support SOX and ICFR compliance.
• Manage relationships with tax authorities, external auditors, and tax advisors, coordinating responses to inquiries and audits.
• Drive continuous improvement and automation of tax processes, supporting finance transformation initiatives such as Oracle and e‑Invoicing.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, Economics or a related field.
• Significant experience in corporate tax, preferably within a multinational environment.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, US GAAP, OECD transfer pricing guidelines, and local tax regulations.
• Experience with SOX, ICFR, and internal control frameworks.
• Proven ability to work cross‑functionally and communicate complex tax matters to senior stakeholders.
