Senior Tax Policy Consultant – Dubai

About the role

EY’s Tax Policy team within International Tax & Transaction Services is looking for a Senior Consultant to join its Dubai office. You will work on high‑impact projects that help governments and tax authorities design and implement effective tax policies across the MENA region.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic guidance on tax policy development, referencing best practices and international regulatory trends.
• Support tax and revenue administrations in the implementation of tax and revenue policies.
• Assist governments with strategy and engagement on international tax initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (legal, finance, economics, public policy) to deliver integrated solutions.
• Prepare and present insights, policy papers and technical memos to senior stakeholders.

Required profile

• Degree in economics, finance, tax or accounting.
• At least four years of relevant tax experience, preferably in a Big 4 environment or a governmental/international firm.
• Strong knowledge of domestic and international tax rules and tax authority practices.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and interact with senior stakeholders.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
