Senior Tech Lead – Server and Storage

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Tech Lead to own and evolve our server and storage infrastructure in Abu Dhabi. The role combines deep expertise in VMware data‑centre virtualization, Linux system administration and Windows operations to ensure a secure, highly available environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain VMware virtualisation solutions for the data centre.
• Administer Linux servers (Ubuntu, RHEL) and Windows Server platforms, including LVM, multipath and network bonding.
• Perform OS hardening, develop shell scripts for automation and manage security patches.
• Configure and support Apache web servers and MySQL databases on Linux.
• Integrate and maintain Microsoft Directory Services (Active Directory, DNS, DHCP) and manage SSL certificates.
• Document all system operations, changes and maintenance activities.
• Provide technical guidance and lead a team of engineers to achieve high‑availability and resiliency goals.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or related field.
• Minimum 5‑7 years of hands‑on experience with VMware, Linux and Windows server environments.
• Relevant certifications such as VCP/VCAP, RHCE, ITIL V4; Microsoft Entra ID Administrator Associate is a plus.
• Proven ability to design secure, scalable infrastructure solutions.
