Senior Technician Mechanical Maintenance – Rotating Process

About the role

The Senior Technician Mechanical Maintenance – Rotating Process is responsible for ensuring the reliability and availability of critical plant equipment across multiple utility units. This role supports production, quality, and safety objectives by performing preventive, breakdown and shutdown maintenance on both rotating and static equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Obtain work permits, coordinate transport, materials, tools and equipment for each task.
• Allocate work to technicians and assist in diagnosing complex faults.
• Inspect and test completed work to verify efficient performance.
• Execute routine and preventive maintenance, replace worn parts and conduct test runs.
• Perform major overhauls, verify clearances and determine part usage or replacement.
• Prepare daily activity reports detailing faults, work performed, materials used, labour and time spent.
• Adhere to company policies, HSE standards and sustainability guidelines.
• Provide on‑the‑job training for UAE nationalisation programmes.

Required profile

• Proven experience in mechanical maintenance of rotating and static equipment in an industrial setting.
• Ability to work under pressure, manage time effectively and meet assigned standards.
• Strong understanding of HSE practices and emergency response procedures.
• Willingness to support continuous improvement initiatives.
