Senior TechOps Engineer

About the role

Momentum Corporate Services is seeking a Senior TechOps Engineer to join its Technical Operations team. You will work in a 24/7 NOC environment, ensuring the reliability of regulated platforms and supporting both UAT and production workloads on Microsoft Azure.

Key responsibilities

• Build, operate, and support Azure‑based UAT and production environments.
• Perform hands‑on RHEL administration, including hardening, patching, tuning, and troubleshooting.
• Act as senior escalation point for L2/L3 incidents, lead root‑cause analysis and implement permanent fixes.
• Support Java microservices built on Spring Boot and diagnose JVM performance issues.
• Maintain service‑to‑service communication frameworks such as Dubbo.
• Drive security vulnerability remediation across OS, middleware, and cloud layers.
• Collaborate with Security, SOC, and NOC teams on incident response and post‑incident reviews.
• Mentor L1 engineers and ensure quality handover.
• Participate in on‑call rotation, manage incidents, problems, and changes using Jira Service Management.
• Create and maintain runbooks, dashboards, and operational documentation.
• Improve platform reliability through automation, CI/CD pipelines, and scripting.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of experience in TechOps, Infrastructure, SRE, or Production Operations.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Azure and RHEL administration.
• Proven track record supporting Java microservices and middleware in production.
• Advanced knowledge of Elasticsearch and JVM observability.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automation, and Python scripting.
• Solid incident management and root‑cause analysis skills.
• Familiarity with ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change).
• Comfortable working in 24/7 production environments.
• Business‑level proficiency in English; Mandarin/Chinese is a plus.
