Senior Treasury Accountant

About the role

The organization is seeking an experienced Senior Treasury Accountant to strengthen its finance team. This position focuses on cash management, banking operations, and trade finance within the UAE market, reporting to senior finance leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare daily cash position reports and monitor overall cash flow.
• Manage banking facilities such as Letters of Credit, Trust Receipt loans, overdrafts, and bank guarantees.
• Process import LCs, documentary collections, and TR loan settlements with banking partners.
• Evaluate bank pricing, service charges, and financing terms to secure competitive arrangements.
• Handle bank KYC, compliance requests, and account opening/renewal documentation.
• Prepare accurate bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Coordinate fund transfers between business entities and ensure payments follow authorization limits.
• Monitor foreign exchange exposure and negotiate competitive FX rates.
• Prepare monthly treasury KPI reports covering facility utilization, finance costs, cash balances, and performance.
• Supervise and support the Junior Treasury Accountant.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting; CMA, CTP, or ACCA preferred.
• 6–8 years of treasury or banking experience with exposure to UAE trade finance.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem‑solving abilities.

• Advanced Microsoft Excel and financial modelling.
• Cash management and treasury operations.
• Trade finance expertise (Letters of Credit, Trust Receipt loans, documentary collections).
• Bank reconciliations.
