Senior Visual Designer / Lead (Interactive Design)

About the role

The company leads advertising and marketing and handles the creative development and implementation of world-class communications. This role designs content and interfaces for other digital platforms, especially for product launches, under the limited direction of a Creative Director. It calls for a proven record in graphic design and art direction for the web, particularly for major brands, and experience working with a relatively high level of autonomy.

Key responsibilities

• Be accountable for the conception and execution of visual creative direction.
• Review creative work regularly with the creative team, give feedback on direction and ensure alignment with the Creative Director's activities.
• Deliver art direction for interactive projects, from concept through to prototyping.
• Develop innovative, on-strategy designs and experiences that meet the objectives of each assignment.
• Translate campaign identity into a cohesive design system, ensuring consistency and quality across every touchpoint.
• Solve problems conceptually with writers, UX designers, creative technologists and developers.
• Persuade stakeholders by clearly articulating design rationale, and communicate verbally and in writing with creatives and product managers.
• Support production handoff into localization and deployment pipelines across regions, coordinating with localisation and production teams as campaigns scale globally.

Required profile

• At least 6 years of experience, preferably in an agency, specialising in visual design for the web and apps.
• Diverse portfolio of bold, well-crafted work, expressed through hand sketches, digital comps, rapid prototyping and 3D rendering.
• Natural collaborator and mentor who thrives in a group setting and brings out the best in the design, copy, UX and development teams.
• Fluent across multiple design tools, including Figma and Sketch, and able to move between them depending on project needs.
