Senior Wet Utilities Engineer

About the role

Parsons Corporation is seeking a Senior Wet Utilities Engineer to lead design teams in Abu Dhabi. You will guide junior engineers and digital staff, ensuring high‑quality, timely delivery for public and private sector projects across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical guidance and supervision of design plans and profiles for small‑scale projects.
• Lead development of complex utility plans and review them for compliance and constructability.
• Create simple workflows and templates to streamline repetitive design tasks.
• Apply advanced engineering principles to analytical models and verify deliverables from less‑experienced engineers.
• Develop baseline design schedules, track progress, and adjust tasks to meet deadlines.
• Serve as the primary client interface for the assigned engineering discipline.
• Mentor staff on technical aspects and conduct on‑site training when required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (Master’s preferred).
• 8+ years of wet‑utility design experience.
• Strong knowledge of current engineering technologies and industry codes.
• Proven ability to determine efficient solutions for complex engineering problems.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
