Service Engineer – EV Workshop & Technical Operations

About the role

We are looking for a Service Engineer to lead the establishment and operation of our electric‑vehicle workshop in Abu Dhabi. The role combines technical expertise, safety oversight and customer‑focused service delivery across the UAE.

Key responsibilities

• Set up the EV workshop – recruit manpower, install equipment, define processes and IT systems to achieve full operational capability.
• Resolve complex technical issues, liaising with the principal and manufacturers to maintain quality standards and compliance.
• Build and maintain relationships with fleet owners and private clients, gathering feedback and ensuring timely service delivery.
• Coordinate with manufacturers, suppliers and body builders to schedule and execute services according to standards.
• Lead vehicle inspections and ensure all checks are completed before hand‑over to customers.
• Maintain workshop safety, oversee equipment maintenance and enforce health‑and‑safety policies.
• Supervise technicians and electricians, ensuring repairs follow manufacturer guidelines.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 4‑6 years of commercial vehicle technical experience, preferably with electric vehicles.
• Proven ability to manage teams and interact with internal service and sales teams.
• Strong communication skills for internal and external stakeholders.
