Service Operator I – Slickline

About the role

Halliburton Energy Services is seeking a Service Operator I to support slickline operations in Abu Dhabi. This entry‑level position offers hands‑on experience in oilfield service delivery, with a clear development path toward a Service Specialist role.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Service Supervisor throughout all phases of slickline service delivery.
• Prepare, assemble, test, and mobilize equipment and products before jobs.
• Perform slickline services at well sites and handle post‑job demobilization, clean‑up, and equipment repair.
• Repair and redress well pressure control equipment for subsequent jobs.
• Document processes as required by Halliburton standards and adhere to HSE policies.

Required profile

• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
• Effective communication with peers and supervisors.
• Team‑oriented mindset and willingness to develop technical expertise.
• Basic mathematical, reading, and writing skills.
• Basic computer proficiency (preferred).

Required skills

• Slickline unit operation (engine, drive train, hydraulics).
• WPCE operation and maintenance.
• Well pressure control equipment repair.
• Basic computer skills.
• Basic mathematical calculations.
