Site Civil Engineer

About the role

NAGA is seeking an experienced Site Civil Engineer to join its site supervision team in Abu Dhabi. The role involves overseeing daily construction activities, ensuring compliance with approved drawings and specifications, and maintaining high quality and HSE standards across residential, mixed‑use and villa projects.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and supervise daily construction works to align with the approved programme.
• Verify that all works conform to drawings, specifications, material approvals and project requirements.
• Conduct quality control inspections and enforce HSE requirements on site.
• Coordinate with contractors and project stakeholders to resolve technical and site‑related issues.
• Carry out and supervise inspections and testing such as concrete testing, soil compaction, reinforcement and utilities.
• Review shop drawings, method statements and material submissions for compliance.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly progress reports.
• Manage RFIs and NCRs, ensuring timely closure.
• Collaborate with the Resident Engineer and project team to monitor progress, quality and site requirements.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years (120 months) of civil engineering experience, primarily in UAE site supervision.
• Proven experience on residential, mixed‑use and villa projects.
• Strong knowledge of UAE construction codes, HSE regulations and quality control procedures.
• Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams and external contractors.
