Site Construction Engineer – Abu Dhabi

About the role

Worley is seeking a Site Construction Engineer to join its Abu Dhabi team. The role focuses on delivering safe, high‑quality construction work for energy, chemicals and resources projects, ensuring compliance with project specifications and client expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the implementation of HSSEQ objectives on‑site and ensure safe handover of the project to the owner.
• Review, approve and witness Construction Site Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) issued by the EPC contractor.
• Monitor EPC contractor performance against the Project Quality Plan and issue Non‑Conformity Reports (NCRs) when required.
• Conduct regular audits, lead weekly quality meetings and manage the closure of NCRs.
• Oversee the preparation and submission of marked‑up as‑built drawings, test‑pack dossiers and mechanical completion documentation prior to provisional acceptance.
• Ensure all inspection request forms are signed, filed and that the project filing system is maintained.

Required profile

• Proven experience in construction quality management on large‑scale EPC projects.
• Strong knowledge of HSSEQ standards and project quality procedures.
• Ability to analyse root causes, develop corrective actions and drive timely resolution of issues.
• Excellent communication skills for coordinating with EPC contractors, PMC teams and owners.
