Site Engineer

About the role

EMKAAN Architectural & Engineering Consultancy is seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join its Dubai team. The role involves supervising civil and structural works, ensuring quality control, and coordinating with all project stakeholders to meet design, safety, and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports for clients and management.
• Serve as the main liaison between clients, consultants, contractors, and authorities.
• Review and approve drawings, material submittals, work programs, and shop drawings.
• Conduct QA/QC inspections for structural and civil works, including RC, piling, post‑tension slabs, precast, and steel structures.
• Coordinate with structural, MEP, architectural, and interior teams to ensure smooth project execution.
• Manage contractor resources, review RFIs, issue site instructions and NCRs, and support variation and claim assessments.
• Ensure full compliance with HSE and environmental standards on‑site.
• Maintain accurate project documentation according to company procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction, with a strong background in site supervision and quality control.
