Site Inspector – Architect & Senior Architect

About the role

GHD is seeking experienced architectural professionals to join its Middle East team in Abu Dhabi. The role involves overseeing site inspections, coordinating design documentation, and ensuring construction quality for large‑scale projects.

Key responsibilities

• Lead coordination with multidisciplinary teams and support the Resident Engineer on‑site.
• Review and process contract documents, shop drawings, submittals and RFIs.
• Monitor interior architectural works for compliance with contract specifications and quality standards.
• Conduct site inspections, snagging and de‑snagging to drive projects to completion.
• Provide technical advice on variations, procurement, and health & safety matters.

Required profile

• Degree in Architecture or a related field.
• Demonstrable experience on large projects, preferably with authority registration.
• UAE driving licence.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp or 3D MAX.
• Experience with Photoshop, MS Project or Primavera, PowerPoint and basic office suite.
• Good knowledge of building codes.
