Site Technical Manager – Architectural background

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Site Technical Manager with a strong architectural background to support a leading high‑rise construction client in Dubai. The role combines technical coordination, shop‑drawing management and on‑site problem solving to ensure seamless multidisciplinary execution.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage shop‑drawing production, detailing and technical coordination across Architecture, Structure, Civil, Interior Design and MEP disciplines.
• Review subcontractor submissions, materials, shop drawings and technical calculations.
• Resolve technical issues on‑site and provide guidance to construction teams.
• Facilitate technical meetings, workshops, RFIs and material approvals.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, IFC drawings, NCC standards and client requirements.
• Coordinate with procurement, planning, QA/QC and commercial teams.
• Monitor technical status, approvals and as‑built documentation.

Required profile

• Strong architectural background.
• Minimum 8 years experience on high‑rise projects in the UAE.
• At least 8 years experience as a Site Technical Manager in the UAE.
• Contractor experience.
• Arabic nationality.

Required skills

• Shop‑drawing production and management.
• Technical coordination across multidisciplinary teams.
• Interpretation of IFC drawings.
• Knowledge of authorities’ regulations and construction standards.
