SOC Platform Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a SOC Platform Engineer to oversee the administration and optimisation of our Threat Intelligence Platforms and related security solutions within the Security Operations Center. The role involves ensuring seamless integration, performance monitoring and continuous improvement of our SOC tooling to protect the organisation against cyber threats.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and maintain enterprise and open-source threat intelligence platforms, SOAR, SIEM, EDR and NDR solutions.
• Control user access, monitor system performance and generate operational reports.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement and test enhancements and integrations.
• Document processes, procedures and configuration changes comprehensively.
• Analyse the effectiveness of threat intelligence feeds and recommend optimisation strategies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, IT or related field.
• Minimum 4 years of systems engineering experience in complex environments.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
• Relevant cloud or networking certifications are a plus.
