Social Media & Marketing Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a Social Media & Marketing Specialist to design, implement and manage social media strategies for a leading client in Abu Dhabi. The role is contract‑based for an initial six‑month period, with the possibility of renewal based on performance.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a social media strategy aligned with business goals and brand identity.
• Manage daily activities on LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, X, TikTok and YouTube.
• Create, edit and oversee visual and written content including posts, videos, reels and blogs.
• Plan and maintain content calendars to ensure consistent publishing.
• Monitor and engage with online communities to boost audience interaction.
• Lead paid social campaigns (LinkedIn Ads, Meta Ads), handling budgeting, targeting and optimisation.
• Collaborate with internal teams such as Design, PR, Events and Digital Marketing.
• Track, analyse and report on performance metrics (engagement, reach, ROI).
• Stay updated on digital trends, platform changes and emerging technologies.
• Manage influencer partnerships and external collaborations when applicable.
• Ensure all content complies with brand identity, tone and cultural standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience managing social media for major brands; B2B experience is a plus.
• Professional fluency in English; Arabic is an advantage.
• Immediate availability and ability to work in the United Arab Emirates.

Required skills

• Proficiency with LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, X, TikTok and YouTube platforms.
• Experience with paid social tools such as LinkedIn Ads and Meta Ads.
• Analytics expertise using Meta Insights, LinkedIn Analytics and Google Analytics.
• Understanding of SEO, paid media, GEO targeting and content marketing principles.
• Content creation, storytelling and visual communication skills.
