Software Engineer

About the role

We’re looking for a world‑class Software Engineer with 5+ years of strong, hands‑on experience to join our team in Dubai. This role goes beyond knowing frameworks; we need someone who understands software engineering deeply, thinks clearly, solves difficult problems, takes ownership, and builds reliable, maintainable systems.

Key responsibilities

• Investigate, diagnose, and fix production issues thoroughly, ensuring root‑cause resolution.
• Design, develop, and maintain high‑performance APIs and backend services using Node.js, Next.js, and NestJS.
• Perform database design, indexing, and query optimisation for PostgreSQL and MySQL.
• Write automated tests, conduct debugging in production, and uphold clean‑code standards.
• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to translate real‑world requirements into technical solutions.
• Stay current with modern frameworks, AI‑assisted development tools, and emerging technologies.

Required profile

• 5+ years of serious, hands‑on software engineering experience.
• Exceptionally strong problem‑solving and analytical abilities.
• Proactive, energetic attitude with a strong ownership mentality.
• Ability to work independently, make sound technical decisions, and deliver high‑quality code.
• Comfortable interacting with business teams to understand and implement requirements.
