Software Quality Assurance Engineer

About the role

As a SQA Engineer, you will ensure software quality, reliability, and performance by testing applications, identifying defects, and validating new features. You will collaborate with developers and project teams to ensure applications meet business and technical requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Create and execute test cases, scenarios, and plans based on requirements.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, smoke, sanity, and system testing.
• Conduct API testing using Postman and database validation using SQL/MySQL.
• Identify, document, track, and verify defects using Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.
• Maintain QA documentation, report testing status, and collaborate with development teams.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum activities and continuously improve QA processes and automation skills.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or a related field.
• 2+ years of professional experience in Software QA/Testing with strong manual testing skills.
• Good knowledge of SDLC, STLC, and functional, regression, integration, smoke, sanity, and system testing.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, communication, and attention‑to‑detail skills.
