Solutions Architect - Airline Systems

About the role

The Solutions Architect will define and drive the technology architecture that enables seamless operational performance and guest experiences across Etihad’s airline ecosystem. You will design scalable, resilient, and integrated solutions that connect flight operations, technical, training, and network functions with enterprise systems, data platforms, and digital channels.

Key responsibilities

• Define and govern solution architectures supporting operational capabilities and transformation initiatives.
• Design scalable solutions for Flight Operations, Technical, Training, and Network Operations.
• Architect integrations between operational systems, enterprise platforms, and third‑party solutions using appropriate patterns.
• Enable real‑time visibility and automation through event‑driven architectures, monitoring, analytics, and workflow capabilities.
• Ensure data security, governance, and accessibility for reporting, AI, and automation use cases.
• Partner with business stakeholders to translate priorities into technology roadmaps.
• Evaluate technology and vendor solutions for scalability, interoperability, and cost alignment.
• Maintain architecture artefacts, manage risks, technical debt, and promote standardisation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or related field.
• Proven experience designing enterprise‑scale solutions in complex operational environments.
• Strong understanding of integration patterns, event‑driven architectures, and data governance.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams and influence technical decisions.
