Special Events Manager

About the role

Wynn Al Marjan Island is seeking a Special Events Manager to lead the creation and execution of high‑impact events at its upcoming luxury resort. You will shape memorable experiences for discerning guests, from galas and cultural showcases to VIP activations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop unique event concepts that align with brand standards and guest expectations.
• Lead end‑to‑end planning, budgeting, and execution of special events.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams including entertainment, production, culinary, and guest services.
• Source, negotiate, and manage external vendors for décor, entertainment, AV, and logistics.
• Serve as the on‑site lead during events, ensuring personalized service and safety compliance.
• Track event budgets, control costs, and produce post‑event performance reports.

Required profile

• 5–7 years of experience in luxury event management, hospitality, or entertainment production.
• Proven success delivering complex, high‑visibility events.
• Strong creative vision and ability to translate concepts into operational plans.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with event planning software.
• Microsoft Office Suite.
• Design/diagramming tools such as Social Tables, CAD, and Delphi.
