Specialist Audit – Group Finance & Treasury

About the role

The Specialist Audit – Group Finance & Treasury will support the internal audit team in evaluating the finance and treasury activities of First Abu Dhabi Bank across the UAE and its international network. You will work closely with supervisors to ensure audits are performed efficiently, on schedule, and in line with regulatory expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in planning and executing audits of Finance and Treasury functions for FAB Group and its subsidiaries.
• Ensure audit work complies with the Annual Audit Plan and internal audit guidelines.
• Report potential delays or changes to the Head of Audit promptly.
• Support risk assessments for each Finance & Treasury process stream.
• Maintain and update the Audit Universe and audit programs in the central audit management tool.
• Monitor financial performance against budgets and flag variances to management.
• Promote knowledge sharing, ethical standards, and the bank’s values within the audit team.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of finance and treasury operations, control dynamics, and risk management.
• Familiarity with regulatory environments in the UAE and other jurisdictions where FAB operates.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively to meet audit timelines.
• Excellent analytical and reporting skills.

Required skills

• Knowledge of internal audit methodologies and standards.
• Experience with audit planning, risk assessment, and audit universe maintenance.
• Proficiency in using audit management tools and preparing audit documentation.
