Specialist Civil/Structural Engineer

About the role

Worley is seeking a Specialist Civil/Structural Engineer to provide expert technical support for ADNOC offshore projects throughout all project phases, from FEED to commissioning. The role focuses on delivering high‑quality civil and structural solutions while ensuring strict compliance with ADNOC specifications, international codes, and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Provide civil and structural engineering support during FEED, detailed engineering, procurement, construction, installation, and commissioning.
• Review and approve EPC contractor deliverables, including calculations, drawings, specifications, material requisitions, and technical reports.
• Validate structural analysis and design for offshore jackets, topsides, decks, bridges, modules, pipe racks, foundations, and support structures.
• Participate in design reviews, HAZID, HAZOP, constructability and model reviews, and technical workshops.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams (process, mechanical, piping, electrical, marine, geotechnical, etc.) to ensure integrated project delivery.
• Support procurement through technical bid evaluations, vendor document reviews, and material approvals.
• Identify technical risks and propose practical engineering solutions for safe, cost‑effective execution.

Required profile

• Specialist‑level technical expertise in civil and structural engineering for offshore facilities.
• Proven experience reviewing EPC contractor deliverables and ensuring compliance with ADNOC standards and international codes.
• Ability to work across all project stages, from FEED to commissioning.
• Strong coordination skills with multidisciplinary engineering disciplines.
