Specialist Consultant Spine Surgeon – Leading UAE Healthcare Facility

About the role

A leading healthcare organization in the UAE is expanding its surgical team and seeks an experienced Specialist/Consultant Spine Surgeon. You will work in a modern hospital with advanced surgical facilities, collaborating with a multidisciplinary clinical team to deliver high‑quality spine care.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage a wide range of spinal and musculoskeletal disorders.
• Perform elective and emergency spinal surgical procedures, including degenerative disease, trauma, deformities, and complex cases.
• Conduct pre‑operative assessments and provide comprehensive post‑operative care and follow‑up.
• Collaborate closely with neurosurgery, orthopedics, radiology, anesthesia, physiotherapy, and rehabilitation teams.
• Maintain accurate clinical records, participate in multidisciplinary meetings, audits, and quality‑improvement activities.
• Uphold patient safety, clinical governance, and evidence‑based practice standards.

Required profile

• MBBS, MD or equivalent medical qualification.
• Postgraduate qualification in Orthopedic Surgery, Neurosurgery or Spine Surgery.
• Significant post‑specialisation experience in spine surgery, preferably in a tertiary‑care or advanced surgical centre.
• Recognition such as UK CCT/FRCS, American Board, Australian FRACS, South African specialist qualification or equivalent.
• Strong clinical judgment, independent decision‑making and excellent communication skills.
