Specialist Credit Management

About the role

The Specialist Credit Management role is a core part of FAB's Private Banking Credit team. You will evaluate new credit proposals and extensions, focusing on mortgage loan reviews, and support UAE branches and the DSF.

Key responsibilities

• Develop credit proposals and assess associated risks based on client financial information and supporting documents.
• Analyse clients' financial statements, bank statements and credit histories to determine creditworthiness.
• Ensure complete and accurate credit documentation, obtain necessary approvals, and manage exception reports.
• Prepare and forward productivity and compliance reports to the reporting manager on schedule.
• Adhere to FAB policies, Central Bank regulations, and audit requirements to maintain uniformity and consistency.

Required profile

• Set and achieve performance goals in collaboration with the reporting manager.
• Identify personal training needs and complete relevant development programs.
• Maintain high proficiency in all competencies required for the role.
• Stay updated on professional developments, new techniques, and industry issues.
• Demonstrate professionalism and effective communication with colleagues across departments.
