Specialist Demand Planning

About the role

Delivery Hero’s Talabat Mart is expanding its cloud‑store grocery concept across the Middle East. We are looking for a Specialist in Demand Planning to ensure optimal inventory levels for our stores, supporting rapid 30‑minute delivery and hypermarket‑price offerings.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor daily stock movement and adjust inventory to avoid out‑of‑stock (OOS) or overstock (OVS) situations.
• Maintain and update replenishment parameters such as lead times, reorder points, economic order quantities, and supplier minimum order quantities in the planning system.
• Prepare demand forecasts, initiate store orders, and track receipt of goods.
• Coordinate inventory management with Category Managers and ensure accurate reporting of purchase forecasts.
• Dispatch orders to suppliers, track deliveries, and collaborate on collaborative forecasting and replenishment.
• Maintain precise records of in‑stock and inventory positions.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of experience in demand planning or related supply‑chain roles.
• Detail‑oriented, structured, and able to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Strong communication skills, capable of interacting with senior executives and multiple stakeholders.
• Proactive attitude, comfortable with ambiguity and continuous learning.
• Fluent in English; Arabic is a strong advantage.
