Specialist Drilling Cementing II

About the role

The Specialist Drilling Cementing II will lead lump‑sum turnkey campaigns, overseeing unconventional drilling and testing activities such as UBD, MLT and multi‑stage fracturing. The role is responsible for cost control, rig scheduling and ensuring project delivery aligns with ADNOC Exploration’s biogenic gas objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Set and manage the scope of work for lump‑sum turnkey campaigns, including all related activities.
• Report and update drilling and well‑operation activities for the Biogenic Shallow Gas project.
• Lead integrated project management teams of service companies to execute well programs.
• Endorse and approve drilling programs, well plans and AFE documents.
• Define full field development plans in collaboration with petroleum, reservoir and petrophysics engineers.
• Provide technical advice to the Exploration function on planning, well prognosis and requirements.
• Supervise, train and develop staff to meet functional objectives.
• Contribute to budget preparation, cost control and performance monitoring.
• Implement company and international policies, standards and procedures.
• Design and apply new tools and techniques for operational efficiency.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of experience in drilling cementing or related oil‑and‑gas operations.
• Proven ability to manage large‑scale drilling campaigns and multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong understanding of unconventional drilling techniques and cost control.
• Excellent communication skills to coordinate with engineering, reservoir and petrophysics disciplines.
