Specialist Emergency Medicine Physician – Dubai

About the role

We are looking for a highly skilled Specialist Emergency Medicine physician to join our Emergency Department in Dubai. You will provide rapid assessment, diagnosis, stabilization and treatment for patients with acute, life‑threatening conditions while working within a multidisciplinary team.

Key responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, stabilize and manage medical, surgical, pediatric, trauma and other emergency cases.
• Perform rapid triage, prioritize patients and deliver advanced life‑support interventions.
• Carry out emergency procedures such as airway management, endotracheal intubation, central venous catheterisation, arterial line insertion, chest tube placement, procedural sedation, wound care, fracture reduction and point‑of‑care ultrasound.
• Interpret laboratory results, ECGs and diagnostic imaging to guide timely decisions.
• Coordinate admissions, referrals, transfers and consultations with relevant specialties.
• Participate in trauma activations, cardiac arrests, disaster preparedness and mass‑casualty events.
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records and contribute to quality‑improvement initiatives.
• Supervise junior physicians and support education, mentoring and CME activities.

Required profile

• MBBS or equivalent medical degree from a recognised institution.
• Postgraduate qualification in Emergency Medicine (Arab Board, MD, MRCP, CCT, American/Canadian/Australian Fellowship or equivalent).
• Valid DHA licence or eligibility letter for a Specialist Emergency Medicine position.
• International board certification is preferred.
