Specialist Fire Services

About the role

The Specialist Fire Services will provide strategic advisory support to ADNOC and its Group of Companies on all matters related to fire and emergency preparedness. The role ensures that fire teams are equipped, trained and ready to minimise fire risk to ALARP levels and protect assets and production.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise the development and continual improvement of ADNOC Codes of Practice for fire and emergency preparedness.
• Oversee implementation of these codes across the Group, conduct regular audits and deliver detailed compliance reports.
• Review and approve fire risk assessments, perform specialist fire audits and provide guidance to FEED teams on system design and regulatory requirements.
• Assess firefighting system design, maintenance regimes and inspection practices; work with contractors to support project modifications.
• Lead capability assessments, conduct GAP analyses against worst‑case scenarios and recommend corrective actions.

Required profile

• Relevant degree or professional qualification in fire engineering, safety or a related discipline.
• Proven experience in fire safety management within an industrial or energy‑sector environment.
• Strong knowledge of international fire codes, standards and best practices.
• Demonstrated ability to lead audits, produce technical reports and influence cross‑functional teams.
