Specialist - HSE (Emirati Talent)

About the role

The HSE Specialist will ensure a safe workplace environment in Abu Dhabi, adhering to all health and safety policies, procedures, rules and regulations. This role supports EDGE Group’s mission to protect lives and maintain high safety standards across its operations.

Key responsibilities

• Circulate occupational safety and health (OSHE) materials, including policies, SOPs, training notifications and safety information to relevant departments.
• Document, investigate and implement improvements for all accidents.
• Complete and regularly review risk assessments for equipment and operations.
• Inspect the workplace periodically to identify safety issues, hazards or deficiencies and raise them to responsible parties.
• Maintain accurate health and safety training records.
• Conduct documented health & safety inspections, audits and checks, including monthly checks of fire extinguishers, hose cabinets and first‑aid kits.
• Accompany OSHE external regulatory agencies during inspections and follow up on any deficiencies.
• Assist supervisors in preparing incident/accident reports for timely submission to OSHE.

Required profile

• UAE national (Emirati talent).
• Demonstrated ability to enforce health and safety policies and procedures.
• Experience in conducting risk assessments and safety inspections.
