Specialist Integrity Engineer – Asset Integrity Management

About the role

Wood is seeking a Specialist Integrity Engineer to join a major energy client in Abu Dhabi on a three‑year secondment. The role provides subject‑matter expertise in asset integrity management, risk‑based inspection and fitness‑for‑service assessment for a large portfolio of on‑shore oil and gas facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement integrity management programmes across complex on‑shore assets.
• Conduct integrity assessments, define operating windows and apply risk‑based inspection methodologies.
• Perform asset life‑extension studies and specialist technical investigations.
• Provide technical leadership and mentor engineering personnel within the client team.
• Ensure compliance with international best practice and industry standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience in asset integrity management within the oil and gas sector.
• Strong knowledge of risk‑based inspection and fitness‑for‑service assessment.
• Ability to work collaboratively in an integrated client environment.
• Demonstrated technical leadership and mentoring capabilities.
