Specialist IVF Physician – Abu Dhabi

About the role

We are looking for a highly skilled and compassionate Specialist IVF Physician to join our fertility and reproductive medicine team in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will diagnose and treat infertility, manage IVF and assisted reproductive technology (ART) procedures, and provide patient‑centered care in line with UAE healthcare standards and international best practices.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct consultations, assessments and fertility evaluations for patients and couples.
• Develop individualized treatment plans for infertility and reproductive health conditions.
• Perform and manage IVF/ICSI cycles, ovulation induction, follicular monitoring, egg retrievals, embryo transfers and related ART procedures.
• Interpret diagnostic tests including ultrasound scans, hormonal profiles, semen analysis and genetic screening results.
• Collaborate with embryologists, nurses and multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with DOH regulations and clinical governance standards.
• Provide counseling and emotional support to patients throughout their fertility treatment journeys.
• Monitor treatment outcomes and participate in quality‑improvement initiatives.
• Stay updated with advancements in reproductive medicine and fertility technologies.

Required profile

• Medical Degree (MBBS/MD or equivalent) from a recognized institution.
• Specialisation in Obstetrics & Gynecology with fellowship/sub‑specialty training in Reproductive Medicine or IVF.
• DOH Abu Dhabi licence or eligibility.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in IVF and fertility treatments in a reputable healthcare facility.
• Proven expertise in ART procedures and fertility management.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and patient‑counselling skills.
• Fluency in English; Arabic is an advantage.
