Specialist Pediatric Neurologist – Dubai

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Specialist Pediatric Neurologist to join a leading healthcare organization in Dubai. The role involves delivering comprehensive neurological care to infants, children and adolescents, diagnosing and managing a wide range of disorders while adhering to international clinical standards.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage pediatric neurological disorders such as epilepsy, developmental delays, cerebral palsy, neuromuscular disorders, headaches, movement disorders and neurogenetic conditions.
• Conduct comprehensive neurological assessments and develop individualized treatment and long‑term management plans.
• Interpret diagnostic investigations including EEG, MRI, CT scans, EMG/NCS and laboratory results.
• Manage acute and chronic neurological conditions in outpatient and inpatient settings.
• Collaborate with pediatricians, neurosurgeons, rehabilitation specialists, psychologists, geneticists, radiologists and other multidisciplinary professionals.
• Counsel and educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatment options, prognosis and ongoing care.
• Maintain accurate medical records in line with DHA regulations and organizational policies.
• Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, continuing medical education and departmental meetings.

Required profile

• Medical degree (MBBS/MD or equivalent) from a recognized institution.
• Completed accredited pediatric residency program.
• Fellowship or recognized subspecialty training in Pediatric Neurology.
• Board certification or equivalent specialist qualification recognized by the Dubai Health Authority (DHA).
• DHA eligibility letter or a valid DHA specialist license.
• Minimum 3–5 years of post‑specialization experience in Pediatric Neurology.
• Turkish Board certification or specialist training from Turkey is preferred; Turkish‑speaking physicians highly preferred.
• Previous experience in a tertiary‑care or internationally accredited hospital.
