Specialist Pediatric Orthopedic Surgeon in Dubai

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Specialist Pediatric Orthopedic Surgeon to join a leading healthcare organization in Dubai. The role involves delivering comprehensive orthopedic care to infants, children and adolescents, ensuring high-quality, evidence-based treatment and patient safety.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage a wide range of pediatric orthopedic conditions, including congenital, developmental, traumatic, infectious and neuromuscular disorders.
• Perform pediatric orthopedic surgical procedures and provide pre-operative and post-operative care.
• Develop individualized treatment plans using surgical and non-surgical approaches.
• Conduct outpatient clinics, inpatient consultations, emergency assessments and operating theatre procedures.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams such as pediatricians, rehabilitation specialists, radiologists and anesthesiologists.
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment options and rehabilitation.
• Maintain accurate medical records in line with DHA regulations and participate in clinical audits and quality improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Medical Degree (MBBS/MD or equivalent) and completion of an accredited Orthopedic Surgery residency.
• Fellowship or recognized subspecialty training in Pediatric Orthopedics.
• Board certification or specialist qualification recognized by the Dubai Health Authority (DHA) and a valid DHA license.
• Minimum 3–5 years of post-specialization experience in pediatric orthopedics.
• Preferably Turkish Board certification or training and Turkish language proficiency.
