Specialist Pipelines Engineer

About the role

Worley is seeking a Specialist Pipelines Engineer to join its Abu Dhabi team. The role focuses on ensuring technical assurance and compliance of pipeline projects, supporting the contractor throughout design, procurement, construction and commissioning phases.

Key responsibilities

• Review and approve discipline‑specific engineering documents, ensuring alignment with codes, standards and project specifications.
• Participate in design review sessions and technical audits, providing feedback and resolving technical queries.
• Support procurement activities, including vendor document reviews and verification of concession requests.
• Conduct physical inspections, punch‑listing, and assist in commissioning to release certifications such as DAC/MC.
• Verify final documentation and database completeness at project hand‑over.

Required profile

• Proven experience in pipeline engineering within the energy, chemicals or resources sector.
• Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, codes and standards governing pipeline design and construction.
• Ability to liaise with contractors, vendors and internal teams to drive technical compliance.
• Detail‑oriented with solid analytical and problem‑solving capabilities.
