Specialist Procurement Quality Engineer – Offshore Island Project

About the role

The Specialist Procurement Quality Engineer will support KBR’s offshore island project by ensuring that all purchased materials and equipment meet the required quality standards and are delivered on schedule. The role bridges procurement, engineering, construction and QA/QC teams to drive timely and compliant delivery for offshore EPC activities.

Key responsibilities

• Verify supplier and vendor compliance with project quality requirements and ADNOC specifications.
• Review, approve and control procurement quality documents such as ITPs, QCPs, procedures and vendor quality plans.
• Coordinate and monitor vendor inspections, audits, FATs and surveillance activities at supplier facilities.
• Track manufacturing and fabrication schedules, manage non‑conformance reports (NCRs) and drive corrective actions.
• Ensure adherence to ISO 9001, ASME, API and ASTM codes throughout the procurement lifecycle.
• Prepare procurement quality reports and support project quality reviews in collaboration with procurement, engineering, expediting and construction teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Metallurgical or related engineering discipline.
• 15+ years of Oil & Gas EPC experience, with a focus on offshore projects and procurement quality management.
• Previous experience on ADNOC projects is highly preferred.
• Professional certifications such as ASQ CQE, ISO 9001 Lead Auditor or equivalent are advantageous.
