Specialist Quality Improvement

About the role

The Specialist Quality Improvement will lead and manage quality improvement initiatives across Dubai Health Authority facilities. This role focuses on enhancing patient safety, clinical outcomes, and operational efficiency through the design, implementation, and evaluation of robust quality programs.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and roll out organization‑wide quality improvement programs to boost patient care and operational performance.
• Collaborate with hospital administration, clinical leaders, and quality teams to identify performance gaps and standardise best practices.
• Collect, analyse and report quality‑related data, highlighting trends and providing actionable recommendations to senior management.
• Lead quality improvement projects, setting measurable goals, data‑collection methods and performance metrics aligned with strategic objectives.
• Facilitate regular quality improvement meetings, workshops and mentorship for facility staff.
• Monitor compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards across all facilities.
• Provide guidance to individual sites on developing and executing quality plans, policies and procedures.
• Design and deliver training programmes on quality improvement principles, performance measurement and process optimisation.
• Stay current with emerging quality trends and integrate best practices into the organisation’s framework.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in health‑related field or equivalent.
• Minimum of five years of experience in quality improvement, process optimisation or related healthcare roles.
• Proven ability to lead cross‑functional teams and manage complex projects.
• Strong analytical skills with experience in data‑driven decision making.
