Specialist Scheduler / Cost Engineer

About the role

KBR is expanding its Project Management Consultancy (PMC) team for a high‑profile offshore development in Abu Dhabi. The ADNOC PMC position will be based initially in the client or contractor’s office in Abu Dhabi. The role provides planning, scheduling, cost control, forecasting and performance‑monitoring support for ADNOC offshore projects.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, update and maintain integrated project schedules using Primavera P6, including WBS creation, baseline schedules and critical‑path analysis.
• Manage cost breakdown structures, monitor expenditures, prepare EAC/ETC forecasts and perform variance analysis.
• Establish progress‑measurement systems, generate weekly/monthly control reports, S‑curves, dashboards and conduct Earned Value Management analysis.
• Support risk identification, schedule/cost impact assessments, claim evaluation and change‑order analysis.
• Ensure compliance with ADNOC offshore project‑control procedures and coordinate with engineering, procurement, construction, contracts and finance teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering; Primavera P6 certification preferred.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in project controls, planning, scheduling or cost engineering.
• At least 5 years of offshore oil & gas EPC/EPCM experience, preferably with ADNOC or other major Middle‑East operators.
• Experience on projects valued above USD 100 million and familiarity with brownfield modifications, shutdowns and offshore platforms.
• Professional certifications such as PMP, CCP or AACE are advantageous.
