Specialist Static & Package Equipment Engineer – Offshore Project

About the role

KBR is seeking a Specialist Static and Package Equipment Engineer to lead the design, specification, procurement and commissioning of static and packaged equipment for a high‑profile offshore oil and gas development in Abu Dhabi. The role ensures compliance with ADNOC standards, international codes and HSE requirements throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Lead engineering design and review of static equipment such as pressure vessels, columns, towers, heat exchangers, storage tanks, pig launchers, filters, separators, flare knockout drums, scrubbers and reactor vessels.
• Review and approve package equipment deliverables including chemical injection, produced water treatment, fuel gas conditioning, air compressors, nitrogen generation, desalination, utility skids and metering packages.
• Prepare and review equipment datasheets, material requisitions, technical bid evaluations and vendor queries.
• Ensure all designs meet ADNOC standards, international codes (API, ASME, TEMA), project specifications and HSE requirements.
• Coordinate with procurement, fabrication, testing, installation and commissioning teams to meet schedule objectives.

Required profile

• Minimum 15 years of experience (≈180 months) in static and package equipment engineering for offshore oil and gas projects.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary engineering teams and manage complex equipment packages.
• Strong knowledge of ADNOC standards, API, ASME and TEMA codes.
• Excellent technical documentation and review skills.
