Staff Accountant (Abu Dhabi)

About the role

We are looking for a highly organized and detail‑oriented Staff Accountant to join our finance team in Abu Dhabi. You will support day‑to‑day accounting operations, ensure accurate financial records, and contribute to month‑end and year‑end closing activities.

Key responsibilities

• Record and review daily financial transactions and journal entries.
• Maintain the general ledger and supporting documentation.
• Perform bank, credit‑card and balance‑sheet reconciliations.
• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoice preparation and payment processing.
• Prepare account analyses, reconciliations and financial schedules.
• Support the preparation of financial statements and management reports.
• Research and resolve discrepancies in accounts and financial records.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis as required.
• Provide documentation for internal and external audits.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and general ledger management.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Analytical mindset with solid problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
