Staff Field Solutions Engineer

About the role

Shield AI is seeking a Staff Field Solutions Engineer to act as the technical face of its Hivemind autonomy platform for defense and security customers in the Middle East. You will translate mission needs into feasible autonomous solutions and support customers throughout the sales and integration process.

Key responsibilities

• Engage with international defense, security and aerospace customers to understand operational requirements and constraints.
• Deliver technical briefings, product demonstrations, and respond to RFIs/RFPs with tailored solution concepts.
• Develop white papers, technical interchange documents, and customer‑specific solution proposals.
• Collaborate with internal engineering and partner teams to ensure successful integration of Hivemind into existing platforms.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of regional acquisition processes, stakeholder dynamics, and emerging autonomy technologies.

Required profile

• Proven experience working with defense, security, aerospace or government customers in the Middle East.
• Strong understanding of autonomous mission software, unmanned systems, and AI‑enabled capabilities.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to convey complex technical concepts to non‑technical audiences.
• Ability to navigate regional operational priorities and acquisition environments.
