Staff Machine Learning Engineer

About the role

We are partnering with a leading AI company in the UAE to build agentic AI products at scale. As a Staff Machine Learning Engineer you will work on production‑grade ML and LLM systems that power live applications across critical sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, train and deploy ML models and LLM‑powered systems for live AI products.
• Apply state‑of‑the‑art techniques such as RAG, LoRA, QLoRA and other parameter‑efficient fine‑tuning methods.
• Build end‑to‑end LLM applications, from model training to deployed APIs (FastAPI/Flask, REST, websockets).
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate business challenges into production AI solutions.
• Monitor, evaluate and optimise model performance in real‑world environments.
• Design and maintain robust data pipelines and vector‑search databases.

Required profile

• 5+ years of hands‑on ML or AI engineering experience in production settings.
• Strong Python programming skills and experience delivering LLM‑powered services.
• Proven expertise with LLM fine‑tuning (LoRA, QLoRA) and retrieval‑augmented generation.
• Experience with modern ML frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, scikit‑learn) and orchestration tools (LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex).
• Comfortable working with SQL/NoSQL and vector databases such as Pinecone, Weaviate, pgvector.
• Track record of solving business‑critical problems with machine learning.
