Staff Midwife – Labour and Delivery Services

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Staff Midwife to join the Labour and Delivery Services at Ghayathi Hospital. The role involves delivering comprehensive maternity care, supporting women and newborns throughout pregnancy, birth, and the post‑natal period.

Key responsibilities

• Provide antenatal assessments and education to expectant mothers.
• Manage intrapartum care, monitoring labour progress and assisting deliveries.
• Deliver post‑natal care to mothers and newborns, including health education.
• Adhere to the Midwifery Scope of Practice and the Professional Nurses Code of Conduct for Abu Dhabi.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe and high‑quality maternal and neonatal outcomes.

Required profile

• Registered midwife licensed by the UAE regulatory authority.
• Commitment to the mission, vision and values of the organisation.
• Strong communication skills and ability to promote health education.
