Staff Nurse – Dermatology Clinic (TP)

About the role

The American Hospital in Dubai is seeking a dedicated Staff Nurse to join its Dermatology Clinic (TP). The role involves delivering patient‑centered care, performing a wide range of dermatological procedures, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high‑quality outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Perform wound dressing, suture removal, and incision & drainage procedures.
• Conduct blood extraction and centrifugation for Platelet‑Rich Plasma (PRP) preparation.
• Assist with ultraviolet therapy, electrocautery, mole mapping, iontophoresis, microneedling radiofrequency, fractional laser, broadband light, Erbium YAG laser, and vascular laser treatments.
• Carry out skin excisions, biopsies, cryotherapy, patch tests, mesotherapy, and HydraFacial procedures.
• Document patient assessments, maintain supplies and equipment, and ensure compliance with JCIA standards.
• Participate in unit meetings, quality‑improvement activities, and mandatory education programs.

Required profile

• Registered Nurse with experience in dermatology or aesthetic medicine.
• Ability to assess patients using age‑specific techniques and develop individualized care plans.
• Strong collaboration skills with physicians, technicians, and support staff.
• Commitment to continuous learning and adherence to safety and infection‑control protocols.
