Staff Nurse – Endoscopy (TP)

About the role

The Staff Nurse – Endoscopy (TP) provides patient‑centered care before, during and after endoscopic procedures. Working closely with physicians and a multidisciplinary team, the nurse ensures safety, comfort and clinical quality throughout the endoscopy pathway.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare patients for endoscopy, explain the procedure and answer questions.
• Administer sedatives and IV fluids, monitor vital signs and manage recovery.
• Assist the physician during the endoscopic examination and handle equipment sterilisation and organisation.
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments, document findings and update care plans.
• Coordinate transfers, participate in unit meetings and quality‑improvement activities.
• Maintain supplies, ensure compliance with JCI mandatory education and handle controlled drugs safely.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (minimum 3‑year program) or equivalent two‑year degree.
• Valid nursing licence/registration in home country and a current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Minimum two years recent post‑graduate experience in endoscopy.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification is essential.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, multidisciplinary hospital environment.
