Staff Nurse – Pediatrics Wing (Tower A6)

About the role

The Staff Nurse in Tower A6 of the Pediatrics Wing provides coordinated nursing care, direct patient support, education for families, and smooth transitions of care. The role aligns with SSMC’s mission, vision, and values while delivering age‑appropriate care within the regulatory scope of practice.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments covering physical, psychosocial, emotional, cognitive and spiritual needs.
• Develop and update individualized care plans with measurable outcomes, involving patients, families and the multidisciplinary team.
• Implement evidence‑based interventions, perform treatments, and administer medications according to organizational policies.
• Document all care activities using standardized language and ensure accurate records in the patient’s health file.
• Communicate relevant information across all levels of care and coordinate with other healthcare professionals.
• Adhere to the Professional Nurses Code of Conduct for Abu Dhabi and the UAE.

Required profile

• Registered Nurse licensed to practice in Abu Dhabi/UAE.
• Experience in pediatric nursing and familiarity with the Nursing Scope of Practice.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Commitment to continuous professional development and ethical standards.
