Staff Nurse – Tower C4 Surgical Wing

About the role

The Staff Nurse in Tower C4’s Surgical Wing provides coordinated, patient‑centred nursing care across the continuum of treatment. You will deliver direct care, educate patients and families, and ensure smooth transitions between care settings while upholding SSMC’s mission, vision and values.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and analyse comprehensive assessment data (physical, psychosocial, emotional, cognitive, spiritual) to identify patient diagnoses and issues.
• Develop culturally appropriate, evidence‑based care plans in partnership with patients, families and the multidisciplinary team.
• Implement care plans using validated interventions, perform treatments and procedures, and administer medications according to policy.
• Document all aspects of the individualized plan of care, including modifications, using standardized terminology.
• Communicate relevant information across all levels of care to ensure continuity and safety.
• Monitor resource consumption and adhere to organizational guidelines.

Required profile

• Registered Nurse licensed to practice in Abu Dhabi/UAE.
• Demonstrated ability to assess, diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate patient care.
• Commitment to the Professional Nurses Code of Conduct and SSMC’s values.
• Strong communication skills for collaboration with patients, families and the healthcare team.
• Ability to document accurately and maintain confidentiality.
